MOORE NETWORKING

10 MINUTE PRESENTATIONS

THIS IS NOT THE TIME TO TALK ABOUT HOW YOU GOT INTO THE BUSINESS OR ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL LIFE.

THIS IS THE TIME TO EDUCATE THOSE OF US IN MOORE NETWORKING ABOUT WHAT YOU DO AND HOW WE CAN HELP.

1. Write down what you want to say.
2. Rehearse it and time yourself.
3. If you have display materials, set these up ahead of time.
4. Handouts are fine--- just don’t pass them out during your presentation.

What does the 10 minute presentation consist of?

1. 1-2 minutes about yourself--that is your education, credentials and experience in the field.

2. 1-2 minutes about the company you represent--where is the business located, unique services you provide, products you offer and how your company is innovative.

3. 4-5 minutes -- Educating Moore members on a specific area of your business---what is involved in providing this service to clients.
(An example is -- If you are a florist, you may want to talk about flowers specific to the wedding industry and how you go about providing your service to the bride.)

4. 1 minute - Discussing industry myths can help the members give better referrals when we understand the myths vs. benefits of your business.

5. 1 minute - Give us 5 types of referrals you are seeking---be specific.
