Madison County Tourism has been helping grow the hospitality industry for over 15 years.  During that time visitor spending in the county has risen to $71 million a year.  Executive Director, Jim Walter, has been leading the organization since 2003 and brings years of marketing and communications background to the organization.  He has a degree in Journalism / Mass Communication from St. Bonaventure University and a MS in Service Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Madison County Tourism is a member organization with over 200 member businesses.  These are businesses who are in the tourism industry or those who want to do business with those in the tourism industry.  Membership allows businesses to receive a listing in the Madison County Travel Guide and on the website.  It is the mission of the organization to grow its member businesses by connecting them with new customers who are traveling here.
